Laurel is an associate editorial director with over 10 years of experience as a recipe developer and food writer. She has written for The Spruce Eats, Food52, Los Angeles Magazine, EatingWell, Eaten Magazine, Serious Eats, Insider, Paste Magazine, and more. She is the author of four cookbooks, including the bestseller “The Instant Pot Electric Cookbook” and “The Unofficial Simpsons Cookbook.” She began writing for Simply Recipes in early 2021

Megan is a senior editor and recipe developer with 15 years of wide-ranging experience. Her obsession with food and cooking began in childhood and adolescence, with early cooking experiments that involved setting the oven on fire while trying to make croissants for the first time (they still tasted great!).

Elaine is a senior editor for Simply Recipes with over 20 years of experience as a food editor, writer, and recipe developer for both digital sites and print publications. She found her passion at age 10 when she started cooking dinners for her family. That’s grown into a love for sharing meals with readers, inspiring them with practical skills and trusty and memorable recipes. Prior to that Elaine was a senior editor at Yummly and at Sunset magazine, as well as a freelance writer.

Brooke is the Associate Social Director at Simply Recipes, where she manages brand growth across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Flipboard, as well as big-picture strategy and influencer marketing. 

Brooke spent two years as the Social Media Editor at The Spruce Eats as well as two years at Real Simple prior to joining Simply Recipes in 2021. She has worked as a writer, print and digital editor, social media manager, and production assistant at various other brands, including SHAPE, Fitness Magazine, BRIDES, Thrillist, and Parents.
